Position Details

  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
  • Schedule: (4) 10-hour shifts a week and a rotating Saturday requirement

Sprinkle Road Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced veterinary assistant or licensed veterinary technician to add to our dedicated team. We are however, willing to train the right candidate. Working together to establish and uphold the highest standards of patient care, we believe that to care for our patients, we must also care for each other. We strive to cultivate a supportive, fun environment that encourages camaraderie and opportunities to learn and grow.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
  • Knowledge of preventative care, medications, and vaccines
  • Obtaining diagnostic samples - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
  • Obtaining TPRs and relevant medical history for patient exams
