Role: Veterinary Assistant  

Status: Full-time  

Salary: $20-$25 per hour (depending on experience)

We’re looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring every patient has a smooth, stress-free experience.

Our hospital is uniquely located right next to Issaquah Creek, providing a peaceful and scenic work environment that our team and clients love.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient exams, treatments, and diagnostics
• Safely and compassionately handle and restrain animals
• Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and treatment areas
• Accurately document patient care and assist with client communications
• Provide backup support for the front desk as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic preferred, but on-the-job training provided
• Valid Washington State Medical Clerk License, or willingness to obtain after hire (training and reimbursement available)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working with cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments, following Fear Free handling techniques
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs
