Burlington Veterinary Center is now ready to hire an experienced veterinary technician to be a part of our team. We are looking for energetic, friendly individuals who are interested in developing their career in veterinary medicine. BVC is a progressive, growing hospital, and we pride ourselves on our care, medicine, and teamwork. We strive to provide a unique client service experience for every client we serve. Applicants need to have great communication skills as well as computer and multitasking abilities.

 

This position will float in several areas of the hospital, not limited to seeing wellness exams, sick appointments, running the in-house laboratory, surgery, ultrasound, laser appointments, acupuncture, and client service. We all answer the phones here and client service experience is an absolute must! We are seeking only experienced veterinary technicians with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience. Applicants with skills including but not limited to: phlebotomy, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesiology and dentistry, patient recovery, and compassionate care for all our patients.

 

Your teaching and marketing skills will also come into play, as you educate clients on the value of advanced veterinary care. You will be in a unique position to coach them on keeping their pets healthy, as well as validating any concerns they may have in collaborating with the doctor. Making a positive impact on both the patient’s life and the client’s is a privilege that you will share in.

 

Applicants must be team motivated, skilled, quick learners, and a self-starter who pays strong attention to detail.
