Amici Pet Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Technician!

Schedule: M-Fr, every other Sat

Salary range: $20-$28 per hour (depending on experience)

Award-winning Amici Pet Hospital in Little Italy is a fast-growing, multi-doctor practice looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team. Our ideal candidate is hard-working, works well in a team environment, loves what they do, and treats every patient as if he or she is their own. 

Tech experience and anesthesia/surgery/dentistry experience is preferred. Candidates must have strong communication skills and be computer savvy with strong attention to detail. We are offering a Full-time position that includes two Saturday shifts (8:30 am - 2:30 pm) per month. Wages will be determined by experience. 

Duties include: 

• Anesthesia and Surgery monitoring 

• Dental prophy and extractions (RVT) 

• Proper restraining of patients 

• Assisting with doctor exams 

• Injections (IV, SQ, IM) 

• IV catheter placement 

• Blood draws 

• Proper radiograph technique 

• Critical care (triage, treatment, monitoring) 

• Effective, people-oriented communication 

• Assisting receptionists when able
