Our ever-growing, 11-doctor practice is looking for an exceptional Pharmacy Assistant to join our PetVet ʻOhana! We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and service to our clients, patients, and veterinary team. 

This is a full-time position in a fast-paced, supportive, and family-oriented small animal hospital. Our culture is rooted in teamwork, positivity, and continuous learning — and we’re excited to welcome someone who will grow with us. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Must have a Pharmacy Assistant Certificate 

• Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment 

• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician will also be considered 

• Previous experience in a veterinary pharmacy, retail pharmacy, or medical setting is a plus

Pharmacy Assistant – Job Summary: 
The Pharmacy Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our veterinarians and technicians by ensuring timely, accurate, and compassionate service in our hospital pharmacy. This position includes preparing and labeling prescriptions, maintaining inventory, processing refills, assisting with client education on medications, and ensuring all regulatory and hospital protocols are followed. You will also help maintain a smooth workflow by supporting other areas of the hospital when needed.
