St. Charles Veterinary Clinic is a 24-hour facility look for a dedicated and compassionate after-hours veterinary technician.
The ideal candidate is able to work as a team and independently. Able to multi-task, is flexible, and has a good attitude.
Responsibilities include:
- Hospitalized patient care
- Competency in triage, emergency, and surgical care - including IV catheter placement
- Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
- Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff.
- Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions.
- Customer service: Answering phone calls, going over financials, checking patients in and out, and going over discharge instructions.
