Come see what else Alpine Animal Hospital has to offer!

Our veterinary technicians work closely with our veterinarians to provide high-quality patient care and help them operate more efficiently by handling technical tasks. Your responsibilities will include—though not be limited to—assisting with procedures, performing client callbacks, managing front-of-house inventory, conducting physical exams, performing dental procedures, assisting in surgery, administering immunizations, providing compassionate euthanasia services, and educating clients.

You may also conduct veterinary technician-only appointments for services such as suture removal, nail trims, vaccine administration (when a doctor’s exam is not required), lab work, surgery admissions and discharges, and other technical procedures. A solid understanding of pharmaceuticals, common diseases (including symptoms, transmission, treatment, and prevention), and general preventative health care is essential.
