Are you passionate about helping animals and providing compassionate care for both pets and their owners? Suburban Veterinary Clinic is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and surgeries
- Safely handle and restrain patients of all sizes and temperaments
- Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas with necessary supplies
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Monitor hospitalized patients and report changes to medical staff
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the clinic
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners
- As well as answering phone calls and checking clients in and out with appointments
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous veterinary or animal care experience preferred (will train the right candidate)
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and eager to learn new skills

Schedule: Full-time position, must be available from 8 am to 6pm Monday through Friday and some Saturdays 8am to 2pm
