Specific Duties:

  • Make friendly and professional outbound calls to veterinary clients, using top-notch communication skills to connect and assist
  • Lend a helping hand with gentle animal restraint when needed—because teamwork (and tails) come first
  • Keep our schedule running smoothly by following and updating the appointment system with precision
  • Jump in to answer incoming calls with a smile (yes, even over the phone!) during business hours
  • Handle inquiries from clients with enthusiasm and professionalism—first impressions matter and can lead to lifelong clients!
  • Respond to appointment requests submitted through our website—making convenience a priority for our clients
  • Assisting in x-rays, vaccine preparation, and note taking
  • Keep tails wagging by booking re-checks, annual exams, surgeries, and more—keeping our patients on track for great health
  • Be a champion of exceptional client and patient care—bringing a positive vibe to every interaction
  • Share in our love for animals—because caring for them is at the heart of everything we do
  • Jump in where needed—flexibility and a team-player attitude are key!

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Empathy and compassion for both clients and their animal companions
  • Proficiency in computer systems and familiarity with veterinary software is a plus
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and composure

Required Training/Knowledge:

  • Proficient with computers
  • High school diploma
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
