Veterinary Technician

Come join our fun-loving and friendly team! Are you an energetic, self-motivated, team player with a can-do attitude? Then the Sturbridge Veterinary Hospital is looking for you! Currently, we have a full-time (32-40 hours) position available for an experienced Veterinary Technician. 

We are looking for someone who has experience in the following areas: 

• Proper restraint techniques 

• Place catheters, administer fluids, give I/V injections 

• Assist in surgery with prepping, monitoring, intubation/extubation, recovery, autoclaving, and preparing surgical packs/instruments 

• Blood draws 

• Dentals 

• Digital radiographs including dental radiographs 

• Assist in office visits taking patient history, putting up medications, and assisting the veterinarian as necessary 

• Providing client education in a clear and knowledgeable manner 

• Be able to maintain a composed, friendly, and professional attitude at all times
