We're Hiring: Veterinary Technician (Small Animal + Exotics)

Animal Hospital of Celina is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team that proudly cares for companion animals and exotics. From rabbits and reptiles to birds and small mammals—we do it all, and we’re looking for someone who’s excited to do it with us.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in exams and procedures for dogs, cats, and exotic pets
- Perform blood draws, radiographs (including for birds and small mammals), and lab tests
- Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical prep and recovery
- Educate pet owners on exotic husbandry, nutrition, and post-treatment care
- Handle a variety of species using safe and compassionate restraint
- Maintain clean, well-stocked, and species-appropriate treatment areas
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have experience or a strong interest in working with exotic species
- Hold a Veterinary Technician degree or equivalent experience (certification preferred)
- Are calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and compassionate
- Communicate clearly with both clients and teammates
- Love learning—especially about unusual species and ever-evolving veterinary care
