Veterinary Technician/Receptionist

Daniel/Randall Veterinary Clinic is seeking a friendly and dedicated veterinary receptionist/assistant/technician to join our hospital team.  This position will be a blended role between assistant and receptionist duties, requiring both technical veterinary skills and customer service abilities. Our hospital is a busy, 4-doctor, full-service animal hospital. The position plays an integral role in providing excellent care to our patients as well as providing outstanding customer service to our clients.  This is a full-time position, 32-40 hours/week.  We offer a flexible schedule, though rotating Saturdays are required.

Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are a must. Duties include taking phone calls, booking appointments, greeting clients, processing payments, assisting the veterinarians, pharmacy duties, addressing client questions, and handling medical records. Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Top priority will be given to applicants with experience working in a veterinary hospital, however we are willing to train the right applicant. Candidates must have experience in a customer service environment. This position requires someone that is excellent at handling difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.  A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all members of our team.
