We’re seeking a Veterinary Assistant to add to our team. You will play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians while helping ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for patients and their families. We are located immediately next to Issaquah Creek and enjoy a very pleasant clinic environment and view!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient exams, treatments and diagnostics
- Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Maintain clean and organized exam and treatment areas
- Accurately document patient care and assist with client communications.
- Provide back-up support for front-of-clinic as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience at a previous veterinary clinic preferred, on-site training available
- Current Washington State Medical Clerk Licensure encouraged
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working with cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments, utilizing Fear Free guidelines
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
