New Tampa Animal Hospital has been proudly serving the community for over 13 years — and we’re still growing! Our two-doctor practice is ready to welcome an experienced veterinary technician with strong leadership potential to join our dedicated team.

Who we’re looking for:

An ideal candidate is passionate about patient care and client service, with at least 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician or lead technician.

Our technicians play an essential role in our day-to-day operations, contributing in many ways, including:

Leadership & Supervision

• Train and mentor veterinary technicians and assistants
• Oversee daily workflows and ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively
• Address team concerns and resolve conflicts professionally
• Communicate clearly with team members and other staff

Patient Care & Technical Skills

Perform all standard veterinary technician duties, such as:

• Taking vital signs and collecting samples
• Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments
• Providing nursing care for sick or injured patients
• Assisting with surgeries and various procedures
• Performing laboratory tests and diagnostics
• Preparing patients for procedures and monitoring anesthesia
• Performing patient intubation as needed
