We're currently seeking a Room Veterinary Technician to join our growing practice and provide critical support in our exam rooms.
Position Summary:
As a Room Veterinary Technician, you’ll be the right hand of our veterinarians—ensuring every exam room visit runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll play a vital role in client communication, patient care, and medical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms before, during, and after patient visits
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and treatments
- Obtain accurate patient histories and vital signs
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed
- Provide client education and answer questions with clarity and compassion
- Maintain clean and organized clinical environments
- Document patient records accurately in the medical system
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant (1+ year preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfort handling cats, dogs, and occasional exotic pets
- Familiarity with veterinary software (e.g., Avimark, Cornerstone, etc.) is a plus
- Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
