Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Marin Pet Hospital is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician with a minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience. We are a small animal clinic located in central San Rafael. This is a full-time position with NO WEEKENDS and NO OVERNIGHTS. We are looking for someone to support our goal of creating healthier lives for our patients and their families. 

Our RVTs are well-utilized and highly valued in our daily patient care by providing: 

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint 

• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines 

• Experience with anesthesia monitoring 

• Competency in surgical and perioperative care - including IV catheter placement 

• Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work 

• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff.  

• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions.
