Gwinnett Animal Clinic is expanding and ready to add an experienced assistant or licensed veterinary technician to its fantastic team. GAC is a well-established, three-doctor practice that continues to experience tremendous growth. We have provided exceptional veterinary care in Lawrenceville and the surrounding areas since 1966. We take great pride in being a trusted partner with pet owners by emphasizing client education and customer service.  

  

Our technicians are a vital part of our patient care team. The ideal candidates must be highly motivated self-starters and willing team players who desire to grow with our busy practice. In addition to supporting our clients and patients by providing excellent customer service and care for the patients in our hospital, other duties will include: 

  

  • Safe and effective patient handling and restraint 
  • Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines 
  • Competency in emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement 
  • Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work 
  • Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff.  
  • Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions.
