Veterinary Technician Assistant

Animal and Bird Medical Center is looking to add a technician assistant to our team.

We are looking for an applicant with good communication, attention to detail, a fast learner, and customer service skills. This position involves pet husbandry and care, assisting veterinarians & technicians, preparing lab samples, assisting with patients during exams and surgeries, answering phones, and making appointments. Experience in this field is a plus, but we are willing to do on-the-job training for motivated applicants.

In a typical week we see plenty of dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, pocket pets, reptiles, and we even have two Amazon parrots as our lobby mascots. We are looking for a team player to join our work family in helping us provide the best possible care for our patients and clients.

This is a full-time position (30-35 hours/week) with a flexible schedule. However, rotating shifts every other Saturday will be required. A love of animals and a customer service background is a great fit for this position.

Starting pay will depend on experience.
