Duties include:
- Venipuncture (placing IV catheters, and collecting samples for labwork)
- Running diagnostic testing in house; preparing samples for reference lab
- Taking radiographs -- digital full body as well as dental
- Dental care (cleaning/scaling and polishing teeth)
- Inducing and monitoring anesthesia
- Surgical suite maintenance (wrapping surgery packs, sterilizing instruments)
- Working with specialists (orthopedic, radiologist and cardiologist)
- Running scheduled technician appointments for vaccinations, nail trims, anal gland expressions, blood draws
