After 30 years of caring for our community’s pets we’ve expanded to include a second location to provide even more compassionate state-of-the-art pet care and services. Comprehensive veterinary care services including preventive diagnostic surgical and dental services as well as pain management on-site dog trainer pet chiropractic acupuncture and boarding. Our facility includes Digital X-Ray Digital Dental X-Ray Ultrasound and Laser Therapy.
As an experienced veterinary technician you already know what it takes to be a successful veterinary professional. Your talent and skill as a veterinary technician are certainly essential to your success in this role. We’ll love your expertise passion eagerness to grow and learn and ability to work well with a team. Some of the key skills that we are looking for with this particular opportunity include:
Responding to the pressure of a fast-paced environment with dignity and professionalism
Perform laboratory sample preparation for in-house machine analyses on urine and blood
Client education and communication skills that convey our recommendations to clients in an easily understandable and professional manner
Surgical experience (prep monitoring recovery etc)
Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
This is a full-time position for an experienced (at least 2 years) or licensed veterinary technician. Most schedules include a 4-day work week from 8am-6pm on Monday-Friday. We currently are closed on the weekends but might change in near future to include an occasional Saturday 8am-12pm shift. We are closed on all major Holidays (Holiday pay is included).
