We are a busy General Practice in Berkeley, who values our staff culture and our relationship with our clients and our pets. We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our team! RVT’s are preferred, but we will consider a candidate with 2+ years of solid technician experience.
Must be able to perform:
- Animal restraint
- SQ, IM, and IV injections
- Venipuncture
- IV catheter placement
- Digital Radiography
- In house labwork
- Nursing care
- Client education
- Anesthetic induction/monitoring/recovery
- Surgical assisting
- Dental prophylaxis and radiographs
Individual qualifications:
- Must be computer savvy
- Cornerstone software experience is a plus
- Must have accuracy in medical records and dictation
- Must have a great attitude and be very personable
- Must be able to keep up in a fast paced environment, with a smile on your face
- Must be able to multitask and effectively triage
- Must understand how to deal with difficult situations with tact and empathy
- Must love animals and people alike!
This position is full time. Saturday work will be mandatory. Salary is dependent on experience. Benefits include:
