In this role, you will provide exceptional nursing care, assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and treatments, and interact with pet owners and colleagues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Prior experience in a veterinary setting is preferred. Our veterinary assistants should be ready to: 

  • Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
  • Perform routine examinations and diagnostic tests
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed
  • Prepare animals for surgery and provide post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Educate clients on animal health and wellness
  • Maintain a positive, supportive approach at all times, recognizing that remarkable results are achieved through teamwork and mutual respect. 
  • Possess the confidence to own tasks and responsibilities to deliver positive outcomes.
  • Anticipate the needs of DVM staff, promoting efficiency and teamwork.
