Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Advantage Veterinary Center, a well-established and high-quality general practice, seeks to add a Registered Veterinary Technician to our friendly team. Our hospital boasts an enjoyable working environment with great leadership and excellent support staff. We have an up-to-date and clean office. Our staff prides itself on their technical as well as interpersonal skills. We are a great team and are looking to add a talented and drama-free member to our work team. We are dedicated to active learning and advanced medical procedures and our Technicians play an integral role in providing excellent medical care to our patients and customer service to our clients.

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule however evening and Saturday shifts will be required.

Job Duties:

• Assist doctors in the exam room, including patient restraint
• Anesthetic monitoring/Surgery Prep
• Hospitalized patient care
• Properly perform medical treatments on hospitalized patients including administering PO, IM, subcutaneous, and IV medications
• Collecting and processing laboratory samples
• Client contact and communication
• Answering phones and setting up appointments 
• Take radiographs
• Help maintain the cleanliness of our facility
