Veterinary Technician (RVT)

We are looking for graduates of a Veterinary Technician program to join our busy multi-veterinarian practice. Candidates must be passionate about providing high quality care to pets and their owners and able to work well in a team environment. Great client communication skills are required for this position. Seasoned technicians are ideal however new graduates are welcome to apply as we are willing to provide mentorship in a supportive atmosphere to the right candidate.

Our hospital is equipped with digital radiography, in house Idexx blood machines, and Sedivue for urinalysis.

As our ideal candidate you will have:

• Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Technology College Diploma
• Hands on animal care experience and a positive, willing-to-learn attitude are a must.
• Solid communication skills, when dealing with both clients and co-workers
• Experience with Avimark veterinary software is an asset.

Experience:

• Veterinary Clinic: 1 year (preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating Saturday shifts
• We are open Monday - Friday 9am - 7pm & Saturday 9am - 1pm.
• No on call or after hour emergency duties are required
