Veterinary Technician (CVT)

Animal Hospital of Spring Grove is looking for a part-time CVT. We are seeking an experienced individual, but willing to train the right candidate. The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our loyal clientele and the highest quality care to their boarded and hospitalized pets.

Skills:

• Energetic, personable and people-oriented
• Experience working with animals and confidence in the physical handling of dogs and cats
• Professional, task-oriented, and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work a flexible schedule

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with scheduling appointments
• Perform daily cleaning of kennels, and public areas, following proper disease control protocol to ensure a sterile environment
• Stock areas and spot-clean kennels and public areas throughout the day
• Assist with Surgical Procedures
• Clean surgical laundry, clean and sonicate surgical instruments and prepare surgical packs as needed
• Clean, fold, and stock kennel laundry throughout the clinic
• Other duties as assigned
