Veterinary Technician (LVT)

If so, keep reading because Red Bank Animal Hospital is ready to hire a Licensed Surgical Technician to add to our fantastic team, and you might be one of us! 

The training and skills of our LVTs are among our most valued assets. We offer plenty of opportunities for CE and to grow in your career, but we are looking for candidates already experienced in:

• 2 years of experience with surgery, perioperative care, and anesthesia monitoring 
• Performing dental procedures 
• IV catheter placement and IV injections
• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff. 
• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions. 

Additional details:

• Rotation Saturdays
• Full-time position, working 35-40 hours / week
