Veterinary Assistant

Clevengers Corner Veterinary Care is an AAHA accredited hospital looking for a Veterinary Assistant applicant who is in search of a career in the veterinary field; one who would like to become a long-term member of our team. This applicant must possess a positive and optimistic attitude, exceptional client services skills, problem solving skills, and be a self-starter. One of the most important qualities this person must possess is a commitment to providing the highest quality care for all of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with exams
• Patient restraint
• Preparing lab samples
• Monitoring hospitalized patients
• Monitoring anesthetic procedures
• Answering phones to assist clients
• Scheduling appointments
• Housekeeping duties

Schedule:

Clevengers Corner Veterinary Care is open 7am - 7pm Monday through Friday and from 8am - 1pm on Saturdays. The ideal candidate should be available to work during those hours.  Employee schedules are flexible, but generally require either an 8 hour or 10 hour shift.
