Veterinary Technician

Have you met West Lake Animal Hospital?! Let us introduce ourselves! We are a team-oriented, mixed-animal practice looking to add a Certified Veterinary Technician or experienced veterinary assistant to our crew of passionate professionals. 

Successful candidates will be skilled in the following:

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Competency in emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement
• Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff. 
• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions. 

*Experience with Cornerstone Software and Heska blood analyzers, as well as fluency in Spanish, are pluses.

Here, we value a proper work-life balance. We work Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. That’s right; no weekend shifts and no holiday hours. We’ve also put together some pretty great benefits to keep life outside of the clinic going well, including:
