Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday with 4-day work weeks; no nights, weekends, on-call shifts, or holidays
Experience: Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience preferred; client care experience a plus

What You’ll Do
- Triage patients and obtain thorough histories, vitals, and assessments
- Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care from intake through discharge
- Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
- Take high-quality radiographs and maintain imaging standards
- Run in-house lab testing, including CBC/chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, and fecals
- Support surgical and dental procedures, including prep, monitoring, recovery, and instrument care
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during procedures
- Educate clients with compassion, clarity, and confidence
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient charts
- Take part in ongoing training and growth opportunities
Responsibilities may vary based on hospital needs as well as your experience, training, certifications, credentials, and assigned responsibilities.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant
- Comfort in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Confidence in patient handling and basic technical skills, or a strong willingness to learn
- Client care or veterinary reception experience is a plus
- A passion for patient care, client service, and teamwork
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift [Weight] lbs with assistance
- Veterinary technician licensure is welcomed but not required
