Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician (CVT)
Status: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive hourly rate based on experience & credentials
Schedule: Flexible scheduling Monday-Friday. Off Weekends
Experience: Veterinary Technician certification with at least one year of Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant experience is ideal; candidates with animal handling experience through volunteering, grooming, boarding, or similar settings are also encouraged to apply

What our Veterinary Technicians / Assistants Do

As a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician, you’ll support our doctors and fellow team members while helping provide compassionate, high-quality care to our patients.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Perform initial evaluations of patients’ conditions
  • Check and monitor vital statistics
  • Assist with patient handling and care
  • Clean and wrap wounds
  • Collect patient samples
  • Administer medications as directed
  • Perform basic laboratory work
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures
  • Help maintain an efficient workflow in a busy seven-doctor practice
  • Contribute to excellent patient care and client service

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, comfortable working as part of a team, and excited to continue learning.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Veterinary Technician certification
  • At least one year of Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant experience
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • A highly motivated approach to patient care
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A commitment to learning and professional development
  • A passion for delivering excellent veterinary care

We also recognize that great veterinary professionals can come from different animal-care backgrounds. We encourage candidates with animal handling experience through volunteering, animal grooming, boarding, or similar environments to apply.
