Position Details

Role: Experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
Status: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience & Licensure
Schedule: Flexible scheduling Monday-Friday with 1 weekday off; Saturdays as needed 9-12 pm
Requirements: At least two years of veterinary technician experience or veterinary technician licensure/certification, plus surgical experience

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do

As an experienced Veterinary Technician, you already know that exceptional patient care requires technical skill, attention to detail, sound judgment, and teamwork.

For this opportunity, we’re looking for a technician who can confidently contribute in both surgical and exam-room settings. Key skills include:

  • Performing surgical technician responsibilities, including anesthetizing, maintaining, monitoring, and recovering patients perioperatively
  • Performing accurate drug calculations
  • Performing the responsibilities and skills of an exam room technician
  • Venipuncture
  • IV catheter placement
  • Supporting safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care
  • Communicating effectively with clients and fellow team members

What You’ll Bring

Your technical abilities are essential, but how you work with people matters just as much. We’re looking for someone who combines veterinary expertise with communication, leadership, accountability, and a supportive approach.

You’ll bring:

  • At least two years of veterinary technician experience or veterinary technician licensure/certification
  • Surgical experience
  • Proficiency with anesthesia and perioperative patient care
  • Strong drug-calculation skills
  • Exam room technician skills
  • Confidence with venipuncture and IV catheter placement
  • The ability to build rapport with clients, teammates, and leadership
  • Strong client education and communication skills, including the ability to explain recommendations clearly and professionally
  • A positive and supportive approach
  • Team leadership and motivation
  • The confidence to take ownership of responsibilities and deliver positive outcomes
  • A desire to continue learning and growing within veterinary medicine
