What Our Veterinary Technicians Do

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll work closely with our veterinarians and support team to provide attentive, compassionate care throughout each patient’s visit. You’ll:

  • Support veterinarians in providing high-quality patient care
  • Assist with examinations, treatments, and clinical procedures
  • Provide attentive nursing care to veterinary patients
  • Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
  • Prepare patients and treatment areas for examinations and procedures
  • Assist with diagnostic and laboratory procedures as directed
  • Monitor patients and communicate changes or concerns to the veterinary team
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient information and medical records
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical areas
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and teammates to support an efficient workflow
  • Participate in ongoing learning and professional development opportunities
