Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician
Status: Full-time
Salary: $17 - $18/hour
Schedule: Five-day workweek with rotating Saturdays

Valley Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. What Our Veterinary Technicians Do
- Obtain detailed patient histories and maintain thorough medical notes
- Follow established vaccine protocols and support preventative care
- Run laboratory work and assist with diagnostic testing
- Assist with taking digital radiographs
- Provide compassionate nursing care to canine and feline patients
- Educate clients about patient care, preventative medicine, and veterinary recommendations
- Follow aseptic techniques and help maintain appropriate clinical standards
- Assist with housekeeping and help keep treatment and patient care areas clean and organized
- Collaborate with veterinarians, assistants, and technicians to provide efficient, high-quality patient care
- Utilize skills such as anesthetic monitoring and venipuncture when appropriate; experience in these areas is a plus but not required
