Role: Veterinary Assistant
Status: Full-time
Salary: $20.00–$23.00 per hour
Schedule: 4 X 10-hour shifts per week; one Saturday per month

At Meadows Cat Hospital, cats aren’t just part of what we do—they’re all we do. Our feline-only veterinary practice in downtown Issaquah is looking for a Veterinary Assistant who shares our passion for cats, high-quality medicine, and collaborative patient care. Previous experience preferred but not required.

You’ll work alongside our experienced team and four doctors in a supportive environment where Veterinary Assistants are encouraged to use their skills and continue building new ones. From feline-friendly restraint and phlebotomy to diagnostics and client communication, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow.

Previous veterinary experience is strongly preferred but not required. If you’re eager to learn and ready to become part of a team that takes both patient care and professional development seriously, we’d love to meet you.

What Our Veterinary Assistants Do

  • Safely and effectively handle and restrain feline patients
  • Support veterinarians and the medical team during appointments and treatments
  • Apply knowledge of preventive care and vaccines
  • Obtain diagnostic radiographs
  • Perform phlebotomy and collect diagnostic samples
  • Run in-house laboratory testing
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and teammates
  • Document patient care and client interactions accurately and succinctly
  • Assist with front desk responsibilities and other day-to-day hospital needs
  • Continue learning and developing skills as part of a collaborative team

What You’ll Bring
