Status: Full-time
Salary: Compensation commensurate with education, training, and experience
Schedule: Four-day workweek, rotating Saturdays

A great opportunity is available for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join the team at VetSelect Animal Hospital of Novi! We are a small animal practice focused on wellness and providing high-quality care for companion animals.
Our Veterinary Technicians play a vital role in providing excellent medical care to our patients and exceptional customer service to our clients. We’re looking for an experienced technician who is ready to fully utilize their skills, work closely with our veterinarians, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families.

What You’ll Do
- Draw blood and collect samples for diagnostic testing
- Perform in-house laboratory tests
- Safely handle and restrain patients
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Educate clients about their pets’ care and veterinary recommendations
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Help provide excellent medical care to companion animal patients
- Deliver compassionate and professional customer service to clients
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, teammates, and pet owners
What You’ll Bring
- A minimum of one year of veterinary experience is preferred
- Experience utilizing core veterinary technician skills
- A positive attitude and team-oriented approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail when maintaining medical records and providing patient care
- The ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
- A commitment to excellent patient care and outstanding customer service
