Role: Veterinary Assistant
Status: Full-time
Salary: Competitive and based on experience
Schedule: 3 full days, 1 half-day. Rotating Saturday shifts. 
Experience: Previous animal care or veterinary experience is welcome, but not required

What You’ll Do

• Assist veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for patient care
• Assist with collecting and preparing laboratory samples as directed
• Support the team with medications, treatments, and patient care under appropriate supervision
• Monitor patients and communicate changes or concerns to the medical team
• Maintain accurate patient information and medical records
• Clean, disinfect, stock, and organize exam and treatment areas
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient hospital environment
• Communicate compassionately and professionally with clients and teammates
• Jump in where needed to keep the hospital running smoothly

What You’ll Bring

• A genuine passion for animals and veterinary medicine
• Previous veterinary or animal-care experience is welcome, but not required
• Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced teammates
• Safe, compassionate approach to animal handling
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
