Role: Experienced ICU Veterinary Technician
Status: Full-time
Salary: Competitive compensation based on experience and skill set
Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Credentials: RVT/CVT preferred, but not required

We’re looking for an experienced ICU Technician or Veterinary Assistant who is confident, organized, and comfortable managing multiple hospitalized patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and monitor multiple hospitalized and critical-care patients
  • Perform frequent patient assessments and monitor vital signs
  • Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture and blood collection
  • Administer IV injections, medications, fluids, and treatments as directed
  • Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, medications, and responses to care
  • Provide compassionate, attentive nursing care throughout hospitalization
  • Assist veterinarians with emergency treatments and procedures
  • Support surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and patient recovery
  • Communicate patient updates and concerns clearly with veterinarians and teammates
  • Collaborate closely with fellow technicians and assistants to prioritize patient needs
  • Maintain organized, stocked, and clean ICU and treatment areas
  • Help maintain efficient workflow while responding to changing patient-care priorities

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous veterinary emergency or ICU experience is required
  • RVT/CVT credentials are preferred, but not required
  • Strong veterinary technical and nursing-care skills
  • Confidence with IV catheter placement, venipuncture, and medication administration
  • Experience monitoring hospitalized and critically ill patients
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
  • The ability to remain organized and focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
  • Experience with surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery is a strong plus
  • A commitment to compassionate, high-quality emergency patient care
