Role: Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT)
Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: 4-day work week, rotating Saturdays, closed Sunday

What You'll Do

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and medical procedures
  • Monitor anesthesia throughout surgical procedures
  • Prepare patients and equipment for surgery
  • Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
  • Perform venipuncture and collect diagnostic samples
  • Run in-house laboratory testing
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
  • Monitor hospitalized patients and provide attentive nursing care
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records
  • Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and discharge instructions
  • Prepare examination rooms and treatment areas
  • Maintain clean, organized treatment and surgical areas
  • Follow hospital protocols for patient safety and quality care
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide an exceptional client experience

What You'll Bring

  • Current Veterinary Technician credential (LVT, RVT, or CVT as required by state regulations)
  • Previous veterinary clinical experience preferred
  • Strong anesthesia monitoring skills
  • Experience performing laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing
  • Proficiency with radiology and sample collection
  • Strong patient handling and restraint skills
  • Excellent communication and client education abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
