Role: Veterinary Assistant
Status: Full-time
Salary: $17.13 - $18.50 / hour
Schedule: Four-day workweeks. Weekends off.
Experience: Previous veterinary medicine or client-care experience preferred

What You’ll Do
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Support surgical and dental procedures, including patient preparation, monitoring, recovery, and instrument care.
- Obtain patient histories and accurately record vital signs.
- Perform patient assessments and communicate concerns to the medical team.
- Provide compassionate support and comfort to patients throughout their visits.
- Educate clients with compassion, clarity, and confidence.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document care thoroughly.
- Keep treatment and examination areas clean, stocked, and organized.
- Work closely with teammates to maintain an efficient hospital workflow.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and supportive hospital culture.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in veterinary medicine or another client-care role.
- Confidence with patient handling and basic veterinary technical skills, or a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
