Status: Full-time
Salary: $20.00–$25.00/hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday (we're off at 3:00 PM every Friday!) Rotating Saturdays (9:00 AM–12:00 PM)

Laurelton Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician with strong surgical and anesthesia experience to join our team.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with our veterinarians to provide exceptional patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures while supporting our patients and clients throughout every stage of their visit.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and dental procedures
- Prepare surgical patients and monitor anesthesia before, during, and after procedures
- Place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and collect laboratory samples
- Obtain high-quality radiographs and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Monitor hospitalized patients and provide compassionate nursing care
- Educate clients regarding medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
- Collaborate closely with teammates to provide exceptional patient care
What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
- Previous veterinary technician experience
- Strong surgical experience, including anesthesia monitoring, surgical nursing, and patient recovery
- Confidence placing IV catheters, performing venipuncture, and collecting diagnostic samples
- Experience with radiology and in-house laboratory procedures
- Excellent communication and client education skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to teamwork
