Ali'i Animal is looking for an experienced veterinary assistant or licensed veterinary technician who is passionate about helping pets live their best lives. Ali'i Animal has two hospitals in Kaka'ako and Kailua and clinics in Kaneohe and Kahala. We work as one team, supporting our hospitals and clinics as needed while cultivating a fun, supportive environment that encourages camaraderie and growth.

What You’ll Do
- Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Support preventative care and vaccine appointments
- Assist with attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
- Provide emergency and surgical care, including IV catheter placement and intubation
- Obtain diagnostics, including radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection, and in-house lab work
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members
- Document patient records and client interactions clearly and accurately
What You’ll Bring
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle client concerns with empathy
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and hospital workflows preferred
- Experience with practice management software such as Avimark, Cornerstone, ezyVet, Idexx Neo, or similar platforms is a plus
- A positive attitude and ability to contribute to a supportive, upbeat team culture
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment
