  • Role: Veterinary Technician
  • Status: Part-Time
  • Salary: $28 - $31/hour, based on experience
  • Schedule: Part-time schedule; 2-3 days/week
  • Requirements: Veterinary Technician experience required. Veterinary Technician License preferred.

Lincoln Square Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited hospital on New York City's Upper West Side. What You’ll Contribute

  • Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
  • Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
  • Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
  • Emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement and intubation
  • Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
  • Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
  • Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions

  • Experience with venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory procedures, and radiology
