What You’ll Do
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
- Monitor anesthesia and support surgical and dental procedures, including preparation, monitoring, recovery, and instrument care
- Educate clients on medications, discharge instructions, preventive care, and treatment plans
- Safely handle and restrain patients using low-stress techniques
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
- Collaborate with teammates to maintain an efficient workflow and exceptional patient care
What Our Veterinary Team Members Bring
- Minimum of three years of veterinary experience preferred
- Licensed Veterinary Technicians and experienced Veterinary Assistants are encouraged to apply
- Strong surgical nursing and anesthesia monitoring skills
- Proficiency with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory procedures
- Excellent patient handling and restraint skills
- Strong communication and client education abilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to teamwork
