Northeast Animal Hospital and Downtown St. Pete Vet Clinic are seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our multi-doctor team in two of the most sought-after locations in St. Pete. What You’ll Do
- Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgeries, and dental procedures
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients
- Support routine veterinary care, advanced diagnostics, surgical care, and dental care
- Safely handle and restrain patients during appointments and procedures
- Monitor patients and assist with treatments as directed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and team members
- Support client education and help create an excellent client experience
- Collaborate with teammates to maintain a unified, safe, and positive hospital environment
What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
- Previous Veterinary Technician experience preferred
- Strong patient care and animal handling skills
- Ability to multitask with grace and compassion in a busy environment
- Positive, upbeat personality and strong people skills
- Compassionate communication with clients, especially during stressful situations
- Physical ability to lift and securely hold animals as needed
- Willingness to work alternating weekends as part of a four-day schedule
- Team-oriented mindset and desire to support coworkers
- Interest in learning, growing, and contributing to a fun workplace culture
- Social media awareness is a plus
