Role: Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician
Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Rotating schedule of four weekdays one week and three weekdays plus a rotating Saturday shift the next; no nights, on-call shifts, or holiday hours

What You'll Do
- Triage patients and obtain medical histories, vital signs, and assessments
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
- Provide compassionate nursing care from admission through discharge
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and diagnostic sample collection
- Obtain quality radiographs and perform in-house laboratory testing
- Assist with surgical and dental procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery
- Practice low-stress, fear-free patient handling techniques
- Educate clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and medications
- Maintain accurate medical records and clean, organized treatment areas
- Support a positive, efficient workflow throughout the hospital
What Our Veterinary Team Brings
- Previous Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician experience preferred
- Strong technical skills including venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory procedures, radiology, and anesthesia monitoring
