What You'll Do
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Perform diagnostic imaging and laboratory testing
- Assist with examinations, surgeries, anesthesia, and post-operative patient care
- Provide nursing care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, small mammals, amphibians, and other exotic pets
- Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and preventative care
- Maintain complete and accurate patient medical records
- Collaborate with doctors and teammates to provide exceptional patient care
- Support daily hospital operations while maintaining a clean, organized work environment
What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
- Current Michigan Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential
- One to two years of clinical veterinary experience preferred
- Confidence handling dogs, cats, and a variety of species; exotic animal experience is a plus
- Strong technical, communication, and client service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for delivering outstanding patient care and continuing professional growth
