Role: Veterinary Assistant
Status: Full-time (approx. 36 per week)
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Flexible Monday through Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays!

What Our Veterinary Assistants Do
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
- Safely restrain patients using appropriate handling techniques
- Obtain patient histories and maintain accurate treatment records
- Administer and dispense medications as directed
- Prepare patients and equipment for examinations and procedures
- Clip and bathe pets as needed
- Educate clients on basic preventative care and treatment recommendations
- Assist with cleaning, maintenance, and hospital organization
- Support the medical team in providing exceptional patient care
What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring
- Previous veterinary assistant experience preferred
- Knowledge of patient restraint and handling techniques
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with vaccinations and preventative care protocols
- Experience administering medications and maintaining treatment records
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques
- Willingness to assist with cleaning and general hospital maintenance
- Familiarity with Cornerstone software is a plus
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Commitment to compassionate patient care and excellent client service
