Position Details
Role: Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) or Veterinary Assistant
Status: Part-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience & licensure
Schedule: Student one weekend day and one weekday. Willing to increase on breaks and summers to full-time if needed.

What You’ll Do
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and patient care
- Support dental procedures, vaccinations, diagnostics, and preventive care services
- Perform technical skills and nursing care appropriate to experience and licensure
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Prepare patients, equipment, and treatment areas for procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans
- Collaborate with doctors and team members to maintain efficient hospital operations
- Deliver compassionate care to both pets and their people

- Veterinary experience preferred but not required for assistants
