Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM (7:15 AM on surgery days) – 5:00 PM, plus every other Saturday, 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Poland Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our recently renovated, full-service small animal hospital in beautiful Poland, Maine.
We are a well-established two-doctor practice supported by a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding patient care and exceptional client service. What You’ll Do
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Support surgical and dental procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery
- Perform laboratory sample collection and diagnostic testing
- Obtain patient histories and monitor patient well-being
- Take and process digital radiographs
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
- Educate clients on treatment plans, preventive care, and patient needs
- Assist with hospital workflow and daily operations
- Support the transition to EzyVet and contribute to a positive team environment
What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
- Licensed or credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred
- Experienced Veterinary Assistants will also be considered
- Minimum of 1–2 years of small animal veterinary experience
- Strong technical and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
