What Veterinary Technicians & Assistants Do

  • Assist veterinarians with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Dispense and administer medications safely and accurately
  • Support surgical procedures, including IV catheter placement, patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, recovery, and discharge
  • Perform dental prophylaxis and assist with dental procedures
  • Obtain patient histories and maintain accurate medical records
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the team to provide outstanding medical care and client service

What Our Veterinary Technicians & Assistants Bring

  • Previous veterinary experience required; minimum two years preferred for Veterinary Assistant candidates
  • Strong technical and surgical support skills
  • Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dental procedures preferred
  • Compassion for patients and exceptional client communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
  • Passion for delivering high-quality veterinary medicine
